What happens if a Courier cannot complete a Delivery they are assigned?

Sometimes a courier needs to cancel a job after they have accepted it (for e.g. if they have been waiting at pick-up for more than 5 minutes).

This job is automatically re-launched and a new courier is found.

Currently, the courier that cancelled the order could be invited to take the job again.

In our new process, we will not allow the same courier to be invited to the same job again.

This means it may take a little longer to get a courier to the pick up but the job is more likely to be delivered to the end customer in good time.

Where this change has been implemented, we have seen a significant reduction in cancelled jobs.
